Job Type - Permanent, 4 x 4 shift pattern (days & nights).


We are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a growing FMCG company in the Deeside area. The successful candidate will be carrying out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance of process, packaging, and auxiliary equipment.

The Role
-Responding to machine and auxiliary failures.
-Carry out troubleshooting and fault finding on electrical and mechanical equipment.
-Install, commission and repair of plant and facilities.
-Assisting the manufacturing department with line adjustments, changeovers & breakdowns.
-Ensure reduction of downtime and facilitate improvements.
-Take an active role in site H&S requirements.
-Work unsupervised when required and delegate work of others.
-Produce and maintain documentation relating to engineering tasks.


The Person
-HNC or NVQ L3 qualified in an electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled discipline.
-Hands on multi-skilled experience with automated machines, ideally within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
-Working experience of integrated systems.
-Working experience of automatic packaging and palletisation systems.
-Team worker & safety driven.
