Workshop Engineer required. Our client is a family with over 20 years of experience in the plant industry, running a fleet of over 70 Excavators ranging from 0.5 ton to 8.5 ton , over 70 Dumpers ranging from 0.6Ton to 6.0 ton and a large variety of other Plant & DIY equipment. They are now looking to expand in their Godstone Depot due to the growth of the business.

Successful candidates will service and repair hydraulics, digger tracks, Excavators up to 8 ton, dumpers up to 6-ton, fork lifts, rollers, tree surgery equipment (chippers and grinders), small tool garden machinery, mixers and small water pumps. Although this is a Workshop role, candidates will be required on occasion to go out for mobile breakdowns (a company vehicle will be provided for this).

• Service and repair all heavy and small plant machinery
• Provide diagnostics and have excellent fault-finding skills.
• Make sure the workshop is tidy and adhere to all health and safety rules
• Wash down machinery when the machines come back for hire, should the Yardman be unavailable.

• 3+ years experience in a similar business and position
• Full Driving Licence
• Happy to work one weekend day every other week.

• Salary: £38,000- £40,000
• Working hours: 7:30- 5:30 Monday to Friday and every other Saturday 8-12pm
• Overtime available
• Holiday Package: 20 + 8BH
• Van provided for breakdowns
• Pension
