About the role:

Are you passionate about education and looking to make a meaningful impact on young learners? If so, this could be the perfect role for you! We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our wonderful school community in Brent, London. As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the learning experience of our students. You’ll work closely with an experienced KS2 teacher, providing targeted support to low-achieving students and assisting with intervention sessions to help them reach their full potential. Additionally, you’ll play a vital role in preparing students for their SATs, offering both academic support and emotional encouragement. This part-time role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic about contributing to student success and is eager to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Application Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in a school setting, particularly in Key Stage 2, is preferred.

• A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their best.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• An understanding of the KS2 curriculum and strategies for supporting diverse learners.

• A flexible, proactive approach and a willingness to contribute to all aspects of school life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.

• Provide one-on-one or small-group interventions to boost student progress in core subjects, including Maths and English.

• Assist in creating and maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and personal growth.

• Encourage and motivate students, helping to build their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.

• Support students with special educational needs, adapting materials and strategies to meet individual learning needs.

• Help prepare students for SATs, focusing on key skills and strategies to ensure they feel confident and prepared.
