What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a vital role in driving our growth by building and nurturing relationships with leading clients in the industry. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying and developing opportunities within high-profile onshore and offshore oil projects, catering to both permanent and contract positions in the Oil & Gas sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Client Network Growth: Develop and nurture a network of proven, high-calibre clients within the Oil & Gas sector while uncovering opportunities with new clients.
  • Industry Leads: Collaborate with Technical Recruiters in our Delivery Team to identify and convert potential business opportunities.
  • Spec & Negotiate: Source job vacancies and have full negotiation power to develop your own relationship terms and conditions with your clients to drive your own P&L.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver talent that exceeds their expectations.

· Technical Recruitment: Be trained & develop an in-depth technical knowledge within Oil & Gas that your competitors can not compete with.

· Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new lucrative markets, expanding our reach in the Oil & Gas industry.

· Travel Opportunities: Engage in international and domestic travel to meet clients and visit worksite locations, building stronger relationships.

· Industry Events: Attend seminars, trade shows, and other networking events to stay ahead of industry trends.

· Operational Collaboration: Work closely with our Operations & Mobilisation team to ensure seamless contractor onboarding and deployment.

· CRM Management: Maintain and optimize client and candidate data using our CRM for efficient tracking and reporting.

· Forecasting: Forecast & budget to ensure a constant flow of profitability

· Residential / Placement: The opportunity to take a residential posting in almost any country globally to support your clients.

  • Proven experience in a fast paced sales organisation or technical recruitment (client focused)
  • Strong research skills and the ability to identify, engage, and manage high-quality clients.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
