We are well established in the social housing sector and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations.

Gilmartins are looking to recruit an experienced Groundworker (fencing, repairing brickwork, laying paving slabs) and Multi Trader (ideally plastering). The ideal trades person will have worked in social housing.

The job requires work and travel in the South East London area (Bexley, Bromley, Croydon, Southwark, Lambeth). We are looking for people who live locally and are happy to travel.

Experienced Groundworker / Multi Trader:

The role is to -

• Carry out property repairs and maintenance works – social housing
  • Fencing, brickwork repairs, laying paving slabs
  • Ideally with plastering skills
• Working to Scope of Works on PDA for each job

Requirements for Job:
 

• Full driving license
• Own tools
• Time served or qualified
• Experience of working in social housing
• DBS certificate (no more than 3 years ago)
• CSCS card – due to changes in legislation following the Grenfell Inquiry

Hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with one Saturday in four required. We operate an Emergency Out of Hours service.
