Role: Senior Systems Administrator

Location: Warrington (In office 1 x a week, fortnightly)

Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + benefits

The Role:

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will lead a team of professionals to install, configure, and support a suite of proprietary applications for customers both on their premises and within a private cloud. This Systems administrator's primary objective will be to maintain the availability and operation of services through a combination of planned project work and reactive support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support for applications, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and support products.
• Lead technical projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Oversee the installation and configuration of products on Windows and Linux servers and cloud platforms.
• Develop and enhance standard operating procedures and best practices for installation and support services.

Skills and Experience for Success:

• Proven success as a Senior Implementation.
• Effective team leadership and technical project management.
• Expertise with Windows servers, Linux servers, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and developing innovative solutions.
• Customer-centric approach with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
