We are looking for an experienced Works Manager / Supervisor for a yearlong phase of work, carried out in three sections on the restructuring and improvement of roads / streets / public walkways.

Wearing every hat, as the Work’s Manager you will be responsible for management of sub-contractors and direct workforce, client engagement, company management engagement. All of this will be carried out in a live public environment.

Works Manager Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Oversee all aspects of site operations, from planning to execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate site teams, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Quality Control: Monitor work quality and compliance with industry standards and company procedures.
• Health & Safety: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site.
• Client Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
• Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimize project delivery.

Works Manager Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Works Manager or in a similar role within the civils, highways maintenance, or groundworks industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong I.T. skills
• Full clean UK driving license.
