Title: Nursery Manager (Temp to Perm / Perm)

Location: Wandsworth, London

Start: ASAP

Salary: £38-40k, rising to £40-55k after 6 months (plus additional bonuses)

We are looking for a skilled and creative Nursery Teacher Manager at a BRAND NEW Wandsworth based Nursery who can inspire and lead their team to deliver outstanding early years education. You will need to be able to demonstrate love, care, and patience towards the very precious children in our nursery. This full-time position requires you to work directly and look after a group of children, to write observations on their developmental milestones, and to help deliver varied and enriching activities that will inspire and delight their young minds. Other duties will include managing the day-to-day operation of the setting in cooperation with the Nursery Owner, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures are adhered to.

Ideal Experience:

• BA in Education or equivalent teaching degree
• A minimum Level 2 and 3 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification or equivalent and ability to meet all standards set out in EYFS.
• EYFS 2024 requirement: Employed or internal job changes on or after 4 January 2024 must hold a Level 2 Math's qualification or must achieve one within 2 years of starting in the position.
• At least 2 years of proven post-qualification experience in working in early education and childcare
• Good IT skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programmes, nursery management software, social media platforms and online portals effectively
• An ability to multi-task and establish rapport with staff, families, and external agencies
