Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Northampton

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Northampton area to find an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.

The candidate for this role will listen to pupils read, reading to them and telling them stories look after pupils who have had accidents, need help, or are upset.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

• Deliver tailored teaching activities to individual pupils or small groups of pupils
• Make sure that the pupils you are working with are able to engage in the learning at hand and stay on task
• Support the social and emotional development of pupils and report any issues when necessary
• Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour and promoting positive behaviour
• Guide and monitor pupil progress
• Help with the planning of some lessons.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
