What will you be doing?

• Meeting with senior management and clients to define project needs, timelines, and costs.
• Communicating with team members.
• Identifying risks and addressing potential delays and budget issues.
• Creating and updating detailed project plans.
• Assigning tasks based on team members' skills and experience.
• Monitoring project progress to ensure it stays on schedule.
• Preparing and submitting status reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborating with stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Building strong leadership, customer relations, and communication skills.
• Managing daily project operations.
• Coordinating with Designers, Developers, Quality H&S, Procurement, and other stakeholders for planning and documentation.


Where will you be doing it?

Founded over 100 years ago, our client is a leading and global provider of solutions such as process control systems, measurement instruments, and services for industries including oil and gas, chemical, and power generation. With a worldwide network, their UK office is based in Runcorn. As the principal contractor for a National Grid Gas Compression site, they're looking for someone to lead and manage the project.


What will you need?

• Experience working as a Project Manager within an engineering field
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Primavera P6, FastDraft).
• Knowledge of NEC 4 (preferably Options A, C, and E)
• PMBOK or PRINCE2
• Understanding of CDM15 roles for Principal Contractor and Principal Designer
