Are you a skilled Escalator Service Engineer looking for a stable night shift role in one of London's premier shopping destinations?

One of my key clients are looking for a dedicated Escalator Night Shift Static Site Service Engineer to join their dynamic team on a shopping centre contract in the West London area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing escalators to ensure their safe and efficient operation during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing regular inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance of escalators to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing any issues with escalators, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety.
• Responding swiftly to any emergency breakdowns during the night shift, ensuring the prompt restoration of services.
• Adhering to all safety regulations, company policies, and manufacturer guidelines while conducting maintenance and repairs.
• Accurately recording all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in the company’s maintenance management system.
• Working closely with the facilities management team and other engineers to ensure smooth operations throughout the shopping centre.

The shift basis for this role will be Monday to Thursday, working from 10:00pm through to 08:00am giving you every weekend to yourself, allowing opportunity for plenty of overtime at enhanced rates, should you want it. The role is contracted to a 40 hour week, with a paid 1-hour lunch break. 

To be considered for the role, you are required to have; 

• A minimum of an NVQ 3 in Escalator Servicing. 
• Ideally 4+ years' experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing faults with escalators, with good technical knowledge of different manufacturers' equipment. 
• Ideally a full UK Driving License, however non-drivers will be considered providing they can access the site via public trransport.
