Our client, a prominent player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in delivering a wide range of major project schemes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supervising all aspects of onsite maintenance and improvement schemes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce, and the public in accordance with SHEQ processes and procedures.
  • Manage construction sites to programme and budget.
  • Engage with WNC, the public, elected councillors, and parish councils.
  • Ensure sites are compliant with Chapter 8 and the Construction (Design and Management) regulations.
  • Interpret documents, scheme drawings, and B.O.Q's in line with NEC4 contract requirements.
  • Inspect work quality in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan and current specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events.
  • Promote the wellbeing of your team and ensure an inclusive workplace.


Job Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
  • NRSWA Supervisor certification.
  • 12D Traffic Management certification.
  • NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate.
  • SMSTS certification.
  • Clean driving licence.


Skills:

  • Experience in managing direct employees and civil engineering contractors.
  • IT literate - proficient in MS Office and order management databases.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in people management and motivation of staff.
  • Proven ability to instruct and direct staff.
  • Ability to organise both self and others effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
