Site Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in delivering a wide range of major project schemes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supervising all aspects of onsite maintenance and improvement schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce, and the public in accordance with SHEQ processes and procedures.
- Manage construction sites to programme and budget.
- Engage with WNC, the public, elected councillors, and parish councils.
- Ensure sites are compliant with Chapter 8 and the Construction (Design and Management) regulations.
- Interpret documents, scheme drawings, and B.O.Q's in line with NEC4 contract requirements.
- Inspect work quality in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan and current specifications.
- Ensure compliance with NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events.
- Promote the wellbeing of your team and ensure an inclusive workplace.
Job Requirements:
- HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
- NRSWA Supervisor certification.
- 12D Traffic Management certification.
- NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate.
- SMSTS certification.
- Clean driving licence.
Skills:
- Experience in managing direct employees and civil engineering contractors.
- IT literate - proficient in MS Office and order management databases.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in people management and motivation of staff.
- Proven ability to instruct and direct staff.
- Ability to organise both self and others effectively.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
