Maths Teacher

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Teacher with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join a vibrant school community in Wandsworth.

Position: Maths Teacher with QTS
Location: Wandsworth
Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

• Monday to Friday
• 8.30am-4pm 
• SEMH (Social and emotional mental health) Setting

The Role:

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to support students with a range of learning difficulties.
• Work closely with the SEN team, parents, and other professionals to create and maintain personalized learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and growth.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Mathematics.
• Proven experience working with students with SEN, particularly in a secondary school setting.
• Strong understanding of SEN practices, including IEPs and differentiated instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to nurturing and inspiring all students.
