Sales Engineer, South UK - Process Cooling Solutions

We are looking to further develop our existing portfolio of chillers, temperature controllers and cooling systems. We intend to operate a multi brand strategy and are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our family in the Southern UK territory.

The role:

  • Owning, achieving, and exceeding annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Maintaining and constructively using a CRM system with call reporting and scheduling
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partnering with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understanding and feeding back into the company key customer and market trends within the territory.
  • Monthly reporting of sales and market activities with variance against PY and Budget
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Organising customer call planning to effectively fulfil the role and achieve budget

To succeed, you will need:

  • Previous sales experience
  • CAD/ drawing capability is desirable
  • Be familiar with all aspects of factory site installations and the requirements of
  • working in this environment in addition to the system design, best practice and implementation of cooling system design; including pumps, valves, pipework, refrigeration chillers, weir tanks
  • Have the ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the customers
  • Have a proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close showing ownership and tenacity
  • Be able to create, articulate & sell the distinct competitive advantages of products and services by identifying the key drivers for a customer – Space Constraints Energy Efficiency, Innovative System Design etc
  • Demonstrable experience developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Hold a UK driving license and be happy with travelling
