Are you a driven and enthusiastic Sales Account Manager? Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic sales team at their North Site in Baston. Job Purpose:

As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving team sales targets. You will be the first point of contact for the company’s valued customers, delivering exceptional customer service and accurate quotations based on their specifications. Your responsibilities will include proactively managing existing customer accounts and maximising opportunities. This role is very customer-centric yet sales-focused, ensuring a balance between meeting customer needs and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Monitor and respond to enquiries from both the sales inbox and personal inbox.
  • Quotation Management: Create and follow up on accurate quotations, ensuring they are recorded on the ERP system.
  • Sales Pipeline: Manage and update the sales pipeline on the CRM system, sourcing new opportunities and following up with prospective customers.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the company’s products and industry trends to provide excellent customer service.
  • Sales Targets: Up-sell products, prioritise workloads, and work towards individual and team KPIs.

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven success in an Account Management role with experience in both B2B and B2C environments.
  • Competent in managing sales pipelines using a CRM system.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional telephone manner with experience in inbound and outbound sales calls.
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented with a drive to achieve targets.
  • Support the Business Development team by attending trade shows and customer visits as needed.
  • Assist with order processing, including handling telephone payments.
  • Be prepared for varying work hours, especially during the busy spring months. Overtime may be required at short notice.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Follow up on quotations within 24 hours unless specified otherwise by the customer.
  • Complete 40 outbound calls daily, including outstanding quotations and account management calls.
