Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons.
• Assist teaching staff during practical science sessions.
• Maintain and clean laboratory equipment and workspaces.
• Manage inventory and order supplies for the science department.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the laboratory.
• Provide technical support and guidance to students during experiments.
• Assist with the organisation and execution of science-related events and projects.

Requirements:

• A strong interest in science and education.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and safety protocols.
• Previous experience as a science technician is preferred but not required.
• A valid DBS on the update service is essential.
