Supervisor (Automotive) – WINSFORD - £30,000 per annum

Founded over 40 years ago, this Automotive company pride themselves on providing comprehensive services for the design, development, and supply of composite components.

With expertise in both Compression Moulding of SMC and Reaction Injection Moulding of pDCPD, they offer a wide range of tooling and production volume options.

Delivering high-quality components and assemblies to OEM customers worldwide across Automotive, Off-Highway, Truck, Rail, and Industrial sectors. Their moulding processes are enhanced by additional capabilities such as CNC and robotic routing, bonding, final assembly, and ‘A’ class painting using their advanced robotic paint facility.

Supervisor (Automotive) – Rewards

  • £30,000 per annum
  • Double-day shift 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm (plus occasional night shift)

Supervisor (Automotive) – Responsibilities

  • Supervise and participate in the production team's tasks as needed to ensure the Company delivers products that meet customer standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a flexible attitude at all times to contribute to the overall success of the team and business.
  • Support production by organizing the work area to meet all production demands.
  • Carry out equipment maintenance as required by the preventive maintenance program.
  • Operate in compliance with TS 16949, Integrated ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
  • Adhere to 5S workplace principles.
  • Collaborate as a team to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work with other team members to ensure that press/cell targets are met.
  • Monitor the performance of process equipment to ensure consistent production results.
  • Coordinate personnel to ensure efficient, effective, and safe operation of all tasks, machinery, and equipment in line with Company standards and procedures.
  • Ensure employees follow all Company rules and regulations, including those related to timekeeping and attendance.
  • Uphold good discipline among department employees and foster positive industrial relations, including supporting disciplinary meetings when necessary.
  • Ensure excellent housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure that parts and stillages are correctly marked and maintained according to procedures.
  • Complete and adhere to all required reporting and record-keeping formats.
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a positive team environment.
  • Provide support to the Department Manager and their team as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy and all statutory regulations, making sure that duties are performed without jeopardizing the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, or visitors on-site.

Supervisor – Requirements

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure with strong planning, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of motivating teams to achieve goals and fostering leadership development.
  • Clearly communicate business goals, deadlines, and performance expectations. Maintain daily communication with the management team
  • High level of health and safety awareness, driven by a passion for enhancing performance in this area.
  • Proven ability to meet service and cost commitments, with a creative, forward-thinking mindset that encourages innovation and the discovery of new improvement opportunities.
