Conveyancing Assistant

One Step are working with a leading solicitor firm based in Somerset. They are looking to expand their team with a Conveyancing Assistant.
The ideal candidate would have previous experience within a Conveyancing position.
A Conveyancing Assistant duty would include:
- Drafting legal documentation, filing and archiving the documents when needed
- Provide clerical and administrative support to fee earners, this could be part of a team or individually
- Consistently providing a high level of service to all clients. This could include professional, and knowledgeable and friendly service
- Dealing with matters via phone calls, emails and face to face with clients and employees
- Effectively use, maintain and managing the case management system whilst following the firm’s procedures
- Ensuring all appointments and/or meetings are booked in. Attending all meetings and assist with note taking as and when is required
- Dealing with general administration tasks, for example; photocopying, printing of documents, sorting through post, etc.
- Meeting all deadlines within the specified timeframes
- Ensuring prompt response to telephone and email enquiries
Working days are Monday-Friday, 9am – 5pm with an hour unpaid lunch break. Salary banding is up for negotiation as this would depend on your experience.
