Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Create a strategic roadmap for digital transformation in manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of technology solutions that enhance digital engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ensure the integration of new systems with existing enterprise architecture.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms for digital manufacturing.
  • Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide architectural guidance.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Establish and enforce technology standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
  • Monitor the performance of technology solutions and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Optimize enterprise architecture to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in digital engineering and manufacturing

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.​

What we need you to have.

  • Proven track record of leading engineering digital transformation initiatives in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman. 
  • Proficiency in digital engineering tools and platforms, such as CAD, PLM, MES, and IoT technologies.

Your skills and experience

ESSENTIAL:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading engineering digital transformation initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Proficiency in digital engineering tools and platforms, such as CAD, PLM, MES, and IoT technologies.
  • Experience with cloud computing, big data analytics, and AI/ML applications in manufacturing.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Defence contract: SC or higher security (currently holding or eligible).
  • Defence contract: Must Hold a UK Passport, Dual National not eligible.

DESIRABLE:

  • TOGAF, Zachman, or other relevant enterprise architecture certifications
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. ​

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.​

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.​
