As an Operations Team Member, you will play a key role in ensuring our processes run smoothly and efficiently, working closely with a supportive and friendly team. We offer comprehensive training and the chance to develop your skills in a company that values innovation and growth.

The site is a lower tier COMAH plant which has a variety of storage tanks, mixing vessels, reactor vessels and warehouses with the capacity to produce products from 1 litre through to 1,000 litre or bulk IBCs for their customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Coordination: Begin your shift with clear instructions from your Manager or Deputy, ensuring you’re set up for success.
  • Work Area Management: Inspect and maintain work areas, addressing any equipment or housekeeping issues promptly.
  • Task Execution: Complete assigned tasks diligently, using your training and expertise to ensure high standards.
  • Collaboration: Assist team members and other departments when needed, fostering our strong culture of teamwork and support.
  • Documentation: Ensure all records, including batch paperwork, checklists, and training logs, are completed to the required standard.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate equipment safely and within guidelines, contributing to a smooth workflow.
  • Communication & Handover: Keep your Manager/Deputy informed of task progress and ensure smooth handover to the next shift.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Be ready to assist in any emergency procedures.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Communicate with other departments, particularly in reporting any operational issues.
  • Stock & Orders: Manage stock control, process orders, and pick, pack, load, and unload goods efficiently.
  • Management Support: Help deliver objectives and follow instructions from the operations management team.
  • Customer Service: Respond to emails and phone communications with professionalism.
  • Health & Safety: Follow all health and safety guidelines, taking responsibility for your own and others’ safety.
