Job Title: Building Claims Insurance Professional

Position Overview: Are you an experienced Building Claims Insurance Professional with a background in fire and flood surveys, property management, and client relations? We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team, where you will handle building claims related to fire and flood damage, manage property and building management tasks, and ensure exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Claims Management:

    • Conduct thorough surveys and assessments of properties affected by fire and flood damage.
    • Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support insurance claims.
    • Liaise with insurance companies, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate claim processing and resolution.
  2. Property and Building Management:

    • Oversee property management tasks, including maintenance and repair coordination.
    • Manage building-related issues and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  3. Surveying:

    • Perform comprehensive building surveys to assess damage and identify necessary repairs or restoration work.
    • Evaluate structural integrity and ensure safety standards are met.
  4. Client Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing expert advice and support throughout the claims process.
    • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and manage expectations effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in handling building claims related to fire and flood damage.
  • Strong background in property and building management.
  • Solid surveying experience with a focus on damage assessment and repair planning.
  • Exceptional client management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, standards, and insurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in building surveying, property management, or a related field.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with insurance claim software and systems.
  • Familiarity with additional property management tools and platforms.
