Smile Education Northwest are recruiting for a secondary History teacher role in the Bolton area and want to hear from you!
 
Location: Bolton
Age group: KS3/4 (ages 11-16)
Payrate: £150-£220 per day

About the role:
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in history according to UK national curriculum
  • Create a stimulating environment to inspire and foster development needs
  • Ensure all learning outcomes are met
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Provide high quality education and care
  • Use strong behavioural management strategies
  • Collaborate with other teachers and departments to enrich student success
 
Requirements:
  • QTS/PGCE qualifications
  • Relevant humanities undergraduate degree
  • ETCs (early careers teachers) are welcome to apply
  • Experience in a teaching role
  • 2 education-based references in the last 24 months
  • An enhanced DBS (If you do not hold this, we can arrange for you which will be refundable once you have completed ten days in your new role).
  • Commitment to delivering high quality education
  • Knowledge of UK curriculum
  • Passion for teaching and good approach to behavioural management
