An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a Town Planner looking to move into the renewable energy sector!

We are seeking applications from commercially aware, driven Planners who will join a close-knit, dynamic team securing new planning permissions for activities on existing sites and new development projects.

Job Description:

  • Prepare planning applications for a range of developments on existing sites.
  • Liaise, build relationships, and negotiate with all stakeholders connected with the planning process including Local Planning Authorities, Council Members and Statutory Consultees.
  • Provide planning advice to internal stakeholders (e.g. site managers, commercial team, etc.) in relation to existing sites.
  • Support the Company's Principal Planner in advising on planning aspects relating to proposed new development projects.

Candidate Requirements:

  • RTPI accredited degree in Town Planning or an equivalent qualification.
  • Some experience in waste or renewables ideal, but not essential.
  • MRTPI or eligible for full chartership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail when preparing and reviewing planning documentation.
