We are seeking a Band 6 Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) working across mainstream primary schools in North West London. This is a locum position, with a full-time schedule, ideal for an SLT passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. You will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to children in approximately four primary schools, the same schools each week, ensuring continuity and quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) within mainstream primary schools.
• Conduct assessments, devise care plans, and implement therapy strategies to support children's development.
• Liaise with school staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive support for each child.
• Ensure regular monitoring, review of progress, and updates to therapy plans as needed.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings as required.
• Deliver therapy in line with best practice and evidence-based approaches.
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience working with paediatric caseloads in a school setting.
• Proven experience in managing children with a range of speech and language disorders.
• Ability to work independently, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are desirable, though public transport is easily accessible in the area.
