Due to continuous growth, we have a new opportunity for the Outbound Telesales Executive (New Business) to join our Customer Experience Team.

Outbound Telesales Executive (New Business) – The Role:

To initially establish new relationships and develop commercial benefit from the on demand PAYG customer segment for hazardous workshop waste.

Leveraging a consultative sales approach to clearly establish full-service requirements and promote future frequent order placement. Attract new and potential customers via proactive outbound calls with support from marketing collateral to self-generate and increase the on demand “pay as you go” client base.

Outbound Telesales Executive (New Business) - Key Responsibilities:

• Research and target specified geographic regions for proactive outbound calling.
• Research and target specified customer sectors (typically workshop operations)
• Maintain a pipeline of prospects to target with support from the group marketing function.
• Meet weekly and monthly targets for number of new business oil wins, volume, and value.
• Deal with all inbound PAYG enquiries escalated from customer services and track via CRM to closure stage.
• Meet weekly targets for conversion of inbound enquiries.
• Utilising existing customer base to actively develop and promote a variety of waste service lines depending on seasonality, business demands and promotional offers.
• Identify opportunities and initiatives to win back previous PAYG customers that have lapsed.
• Advise customers on correct segregation and compliance best practise with the hazardous waste regulations to improve inbound waste material and increase spend.
• Administrate setting up of new customers and place orders accordingly.
• Achieve weekly group KPI targets and comment / submit reports on the development of these vs budget.
• Work alongside Group marketing to design supportive media and collateral to support ongoing promotions or initiatives.
• Track and analyse data to make recommendations for future sales campaigns.

Knowledge, Training, Experience, Technical and Personal Skills:

• Proven sales background.
• Experience of working within a target driven environment and an understanding of CRM would be beneficial.
• A pro-active ability to independently develop new business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong telephone manner.
• Excellent numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to instantly build a rapport with a wide variety of people.
• Well organised and self-disciplined with the ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure.
• Highly focused on delivering results and objectives with a strong personal commitment to supporting the business in achieving its goals in a changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.
• Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and adopt a professional approach in all interactions – should be transparent, open, and honest in all dealings.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations and / or systems.
• A willingness to learn and a track record of improvement via personal development and/or training courses.
