Workshop powered access engineer required. Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently representing a Plant and Tool company that are currently looking for a Workshop Engineer in Bedford. The ideal candidate will come from a strong electrical engineering background, will ideally have experience with powered access equipment.

Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Overview

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining electrically powered access equipment including cherry pickers and scissor lifts
• LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant
• Keeping service records up to date
• Adhering to workshop health & safety rules and regulations
• The fleet of powered access equipment is all electric
• The role requires you to do 40 hours a week but there is flexibility on the hours you do
• Free lunches are also provided so it is a good working environment
• The client's workshop will be moving in future to a more central location in Bedford from where they are currently based on the outskirts

Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Requirements

• Experience in a similar role is desirable
• CAP qualification desirable but not essential
• Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry
• Work well as a team and alone
• Good administrative and organisational skills
• Commutable distance of Bedford

Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Remuneration

• £32,000-£50,000 salary dependant on experience
• 40 hour working week (Flexible in the hours you work)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holiday
• Pension
• Free lunch
