A Junior Accounts Assistant is needed to join the Accounting & Finance team in a Business Services firm to support clients and the senior leadership team.

Description

  • Process financial transactions, including invoices and payments.
  • Maintain financial records in line with company procedures.
  • Produce financial reports for the management team.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes.
  • Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Participate in financial audits and support with data provision.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software packages.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
