Part-time EYFS Teaching Assistant | ASAP

Are you an experienced, passionate EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a part-time role this September? If so, we want to hear from you!

Teach Plus is currently working with a 3-form entry, inclusive, ambitious mainstream primary school who are seeking a part-time EYFS Teaching Assistant to join them ASAP.

The role would be to work in a Nursery Class, 5 afternoons per week, 12pm - 4pm.

The school offers a creative, stimulating curriculum and learning environment, encouraging pupils to be confident and individual, resulting in engaged learners who are excited to come into school and learn. Everyone within the school cares incredibly about each other's wellbeing and the pupil's mental health and wellbeing. The senior leadership team set high expectations, resulting in teachers being motivated by their leaders' ambitions for the pupils and whole school.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you will be expected to:

• To support the lead teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Establish positive relationships with the pupils, parents, class teachers and other members of staff across the school
• Monitor and document the progress of each child and communicate observations to the lead teacher
• Set up indoor and outdoor activities
• Cover break and lunch time duties outside in the playground

The ideal candidate for an EYFS Teaching Assistant role will have:

• Experience working with children within Nursery or Reception
• Experience working with children with SEND
• A flexible, proactive attitude who are passionate about improving the environment and learning for all pupils
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
