£30,000 - £35,000/annum

This role of a Nesting Engineer will require a competent individual who will be responsible for operating RADAN and BOOST nesting software to optimise material usage and to streamline production.

Description

  • Operation of RADAN & BOOST nesting software.
  • Understanding of drawings/technical information.
  • Liaising with internal departments-including; design, engineering and production
  • Continuous improvement of products and processes.
  • Ensuring adherence to Quality Procedures and Health and Safety protocols
  • Performing mechanical analysis of nesting designs.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Profile

A successful Nesting Engineer should have:

  • Experience in operating RADAN and BOOST nesting software
  • Understanding of SolidWorks files.
  • Trumpf or Punch/fold machinery programming experience
  • A good understanding of sheet metal fabrication machinery and production
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with other departments
  • Good planning, organisational, and time management skills
