Fabricator / Welder

Paddock Wood – must drive with own transport due to location/hours

£28k - £35k DOE

Hours – 6.30am – 4pm Monday – Friday (overtime possible weeknights and Saturday mornings)

Fantastic exclusive opportunity for a Fabricator to join a busy and fast paced workshop environment in West Kent.

As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be:

• Working in a busy Workshop environment using a range of tools and machinery
• Fabricating and assembling components from drawings
• Working to productivity targets
• Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard and without defects  
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
• Providing support to the wider team as required
• Working to all health and safety rules and regulations
• Any other ad-hoc duties

The right candidate will have:

• Some experience within Metal Fabrication– salary to be based on experience level
• An interest in mechanical engineering – ideally a relevant qualification
• Any welding experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training can be given
• A good level of physical fitness
• The desire to build a career within a business long term
• Strong attention to detail
• An enthusiastic attitude, keen to learn
• Good communication skills
• Organised and methodical with excellent time management skills
• A solid CV with working history showing commitment and loyalty to an employer
