Our client is an established engineering business based in Harrogate. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting a Trainee Quotation Engineer. Full training and fantastic progression opportunities for the right candidate!

The successful candidate will liaison between customers and overseas manufacturers. They will be responsible for the detailed and timely administration of customer quotations, ensuring information is entered accurately, using our client’s bespoke CRM system.

The Trainee Quotation Engineer will need to provide enough clarity to ensure that a customer’s requirement is understood by the wider business. With a customer focused approach, you will build rapport with all internal teams and stakeholders, to clarify details when information is not available or is unclear.

Our client is ideally looking for someone who has a technical / engineering interest, whether that be through education or personal hobbies, but is happy to be in a position that is admin and customer focused … no hands-on engineer involved! Trainee Quotation Engineer - Candidate

• Good verbal & written communication skills.
• Great attention to detail – demonstrated through accurate and timely data entry.
• Experience of working with internal and external customers desirable.
• Good computer skills, experience of adding data onto a CRM computer systems, ideally.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise work.
• A desire to learn and progress, as understanding and being knowledgeable about our client’s product and service, is critical.

The Trainee Quotation Engineer position is offering £21,000 - £23,000 basic salary plus great benefits! This is a full-time, permanent, site based position in Harrogate.
