Plastic Pipefitter

• £13 - £20ph (doe)
• 37.5-hour week + overtime available
• 8.30am – 4.30pm – Mon - Fri

Our Client are experts in chemical and gas dosing systems. They design, manufacture, install and commission chemical dosing systems in the water industry.

 Due to continued growth and expansion, they are urgently looking for a skilled Plastic Pipefitter to join their team in Widnes.

As a Plastic Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various types of pipes and pipe systems. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools.

Responsibilities:

 -  Read and interpret process diagrams and specifications to determine pipe layouts

– Solvent/fusion weld thermoplastic pipes together using various techniques

 - Assemble and install pipe systems for water treatment plants

- Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks or defects

 - Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion

 - Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications:

 - Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a similar role

- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of pipe systems

 - Proficient in using power tools

 - Ability to join pipes using appropriate techniques

 - Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe dimensions

 - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
