Carousel Buses is part of the Go-Ahead Group plc, one of the major public transport operators in the country. We are comprised of around 90 vehicles and over 150 employees, operating local bus services in and around South Buckinghamshire.

We are now looking for a Recruitment and Training Co-ordinator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Recruitment and Training Co-ordinator, after comprehensive training (where needed), you will manage the entire recruitment process for new employees, from initial assessment to induction and completion of all required training.

You will ensure that all new starters, including trainee and PCV drivers, are fully trained in our processes, procedures and health and safety standards.

Delivering and co-ordinating a comprehensive training programme, you will cover DVSA Driver Training Modules, legal compliance checks and ticket machine training, while maintaining accurate training records.

You will also provide on-road training, feedback and vehicle type familiarisation and mentor new starters to ensure they are confident and competent in their roles.

Additionally, you will:

- Assist with initial on-site assessment processes for prospective employees
- Conduct depot inductions for new starters and driving assessments as needed
- Administer and conduct professional on-road training

About You

To be considered as a Recruitment and Training Co-ordinator, a full, valid driving licence is essential and a PCV licence or the willingness to gain this is desirable.

A general teaching qualification (level 3) or experience within a similar role, would be preferred but is not essential as we’ll provide you with full training; your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn is what matters!
