Currently recruiting for the below role in Nottingham on a 6 month contract basis:
Assistant Accountant main duties:
- Support other functions within the department such as management accounting and business partnering
- Complying with financial laws and regulations alongside in-house policies
- Variance analysis reporting.
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Performing reconciliations of accounts
- Report and analyse performance across all business channels.
- Preparing VAT returns
- Supporting month end duties
- Assist budgeting and forecasting
- Assist audit & statutory reporting
- Ad-hoc project work.
The successful applicant will be AAT qualified and ideally part qualified in either CIMA or ACCA, they will have an analytical mindset with excellent attention-to-detail as well as being a great communicator.
