Electrical Project Engineer (Design) - £50 - £55 p/hour Outside IR35– Sheffield (hybrid)

The Company

Ford & Stanley Interim are currently partnered with a specialist design, build and manufacturing consultancy responsible for a number of world first projects.

The Role

  • They require a proactive and independent Engineer with a strong background in Design and has experience using AutoCAD Electrical.
  • You will be responsible for collating all design documentation and information surrounding the Design Change Requests (DCRs) and Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMs).
  • This will form critical content on a large array of documentation that will allow the next phase of the project to commence.
  • Individuals will need to not only hold the technical competence to obtain this information, but also the proactive and engaging personalities to build strong relationships internally.  

Essential Criteria

  • Essential: Experience in Electrical/EC&I Design Engineering.
  • Essential: Strong competence in AutoCAD Electrical
  • Essential: Exposure to highly regulated industries, ideally Nuclear or Oil & Gas.
  • Essential: Candidates to demonstrate ability to be engaging and proactive.
  • Desirable: Strong written ability

Rate & Length

  • £50 - £55 p/hour
  • 6 months initially
