My client based in Hounslow are looking for a talented individual to join their team. They are looking for an airfreight operations specialist who strives to deliver high quality outcomes and is looking for a new opportunity, with a view to grow in the company. The operations staff control shipments from door to door during import and export air freight procedures. A positive mindset is crucial to the business, but they must also be motivated and want to be part of a specialised team of Dangerous Goods Airfreight Specialists.

The operations staff control shipments from door to door during import and export air freight procedures. Duties will include:
- Managing agents and customers directly.
- Sequoia experience is advantageous
- Liaising with customers for every aspect of their shipment.
- Finding solutions by Air, Road & Sea for highly regulated shipments.
- Making export airline bookings with airlines.
- Tracking shipments and providing updates.
- Customer invoicing and creditor invoice processing in a timely manner.
- Collection and delivery of freight
- Assisting with packing, documentation, driving, warehousing and other tasks from time to time.
- Handling/Lifting packages up to 30kg
- Must have knowledge of Airfreight Operations with a Freight Forwarder.
- DG accredited would be an advantage.
- Computer literacy MS Word, MS Excel and Gmail.
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as working within a team environment.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Logistics: 2 years (Required)
- DG : 1 year (Required)
- Drivers license (Required)
- IATA Certification (Preferred)
- In person
Pay:
- £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
