A permanent vacancy has arisen within our clients Production Engineer Section for a Workshop Supervisor

Basic working week - of 39 hours over a 5 day working week OR a 4 day condensed working week with a Friday off or paid as overtime working. Overtime available. Hourly pay will be dependent on knowledge and previous experience. (Competitive rates paid)
Main Responsibilities
- Comply with and enforce organisations HSEQ policy and procedure requirements
- Ensure mandatory PPE requirements are adhered too
- Manage fabrication and machining projects in production identifying appropriate resources, equipment and allocation of work area’s
- Through effective production scheduling ensure delivery of projects within budgeted man-hours and on time
- Check timesheets verifying hours are correct and booked to correct job
- Advise PRP’s when projects are ready for NDT/PLT
- Complete inspection of components prior to coating/delivery
- Manage coating activities to ensure most efficient and effective use of facility
- Ensure plant, equipment and production tools are available, maintained, calibrated and serviced
- Attend meetings with other company functions to aid business and organisational development
- Enure detailed handover daily for Nightshift ensuring all personnel are productive
- May be requested at times to perform other tasks and work additional hours in abnormal situations to ensure customer requirements are achieved
