Client: Being a specialist fit out contractor in multiple sectors, my client has experienced a significant increase in growth since its set up 7 years ago. With its excellent commercial & operations team as well as its outstanding engineering principles, the business has experienced turnover of £40M in 2024. The business has an outstanding record of repeat business along with an extremely reputable client base due to its specialism in fit outs of commercial offices, research laboratories, healthcare, culture, and retail. They’re currently looking to expand their operations team to help take on many new and exciting projects in the coming years.

Role: Mechanical Site Manager – London – £300 - £320 per day

*** Immediate Start ***

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical package on a specialist commercial office fit out project based in Central London.

Responsibilities:

  • Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
  • Short term programming.
  • Health & Safety (RAMS).
  • Technical Submissions.
  • Sub-contractor coordination.
  • Management of commissioning stages
  • Quality Assurance
  • Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
  • Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams and client

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of mechanical services (especially pipework).
  • Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2M within your own discipline
  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in a management role
