Tipping Hall Operator

Taskmaster Resources are looking for an Tipping Hall Operator for our client based in Newport, Isle of Wight.

Responsibilities:

• Uphold the highest standards of Health & Safety, promptly addressing and reporting any concerns to maintain our commitment to a zero-incident workplace.
• Effective management of tipping hall area including; direction of internal and third party vehicles towards respective bunkers, management of tipping hall shutter doors and barrier system, prompt and full reporting of damage incidents.
• Monitoring material streams delivered to tipping hall to ensure it is in line with waste acceptance criteria. 
• Maintaining clean and safe operating area and ensuring high standards of housekeeping are consistently maintained.
• Communicating with control room operator to ensure effective management of bunkers.
• Effective management of tools and equipment relating to tipping hall operations and associated cleaning tasks.

Skills:

• No prior experience necessary.
• IOSH – working safely.
• Ability to work calmly in pressured operational situations.
• Strong communication skills to manage internal and third party site users.
• Positive attitude and driven to continual improve processes.
• Proactive approach toward managing daily tasks.

Pay rate: £11.79 p/h - £12.31 p/h.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00. 37.5 hours per week.
