About the role:

As the new EYFS Teacher, you’ll play a key role in nurturing the personal, social, and academic growth of children in the Nursery and Reception years. You’ll design and deliver engaging, play-based lessons that support the early development of critical skills across all areas of the EYFS curriculum. Your creativity, patience, and enthusiasm will inspire young children to explore, imagine, and discover in a safe and supportive environment. This role involves working closely with a Teaching Assistant in the classroom, as well as with parents, guardians, and other staff members to ensure each child receives the support and encouragement they need to thrive. You’ll be joining a friendly, collaborative team that values innovation and celebrates achievements, both big and small.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and its practical application in the classroom.

• A creative, enthusiastic, and patient approach to teaching young learners.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

• A commitment to the holistic development of each child and a passion for early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, creative lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.

• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.

• Encourage children’s social and emotional development through interactive play and learning.

• Monitor and assess children’s progress, identifying areas for additional support or extension.

• Collaborate with other EYFS staff to share best practices and enhance the learning experience.

Perks and Benefits:

The role offers a competitive daily salary of £160-£210, depending on experience, along with a full-time, long-term contract that provides job security and the opportunity to become a valued member of the school community. You’ll benefit from ample professional development opportunities, with access to regular CPD and training sessions, all within a supportive and welcoming staff team that values collaboration and mutual respect. The school boasts a well-equipped, modern environment with extensive outdoor spaces for learning and play, and is deeply committed to inclusion, diversity, and celebrating the unique strengths of every child.
