Newstaff MK are recruiting for an outstanding hands-on Production Planner/Expediter for an SME manufacturing business based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes
Working within a small team, you will be fully responsible for processing new orders onto a standard business system and then planning factory production using an Excel based finite capacity plan. You will be recording materials and organising low volume logistics.
You will be a key member of a small office team of 4 in a friendly, clean and safe manufacturing unit
Must:
- Be professional, organised, focussed self- starter
- Have a high attention to detail
- Be an adept Excel user
- Be comfortable learning and optimising inventory management system
- Be able to cover a broad range of duties from receiving orders to dispatch
- Have a polite and helpful telephone manner
- Live in Milton Keynes
Salary & benefits
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm, half an hour for lunch
- Will consider other working hours if you need to fit around childcare
- Free on-site parking
- £13.00 per hour
