We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in North Cambridge who are recruiting for a Financial Controller on a full-time basis. Our client can offer a hybrid working model you would need to have experience in a similar position.

Typical duties include:

• Preparing management reports and providing financial insight to support decision making
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes
• Overseeing the day-to-day accounting function and ensure processes are carried out accurately in a timely manner
• Leading the financial year end and audit processes
• Preparing financial statements to manage and monitor cash flow effectively
• Producing month end accounts and reporting back to senior leadership on company financials

You will have:

• A professional accounting qualification ideally (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
• Ability to communicate effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Experience managing a team would be preferred
• A strong technical skillset and be keen to continue development
