Overview:

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be recruiting for one of our Talent Partner businesses in the search of a National Business Development Manager. This is a leading electrical safety manufacturer who operate in different markets across healthcare and industrial.

This role will be for the industrial segment of the business. Some of the current markets they operate in include oil & gas, defence, renewables, railway, mining and e-mobility markets. They are looking for a BDM to join and expand the market offering into data centres, distribution and manufacturing facilities, however they are open to ideas on this.

The role will be remote apart from the onboarding period, and you will visit customers nationally.

1.       Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive customer acquisition and growth.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential partnerships.

2.       Market Analysis and Research

  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and to identify areas for growth.

3.       Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both external and internal.
  • Negotiate and close strategic partnerships within our chosen sectors.

4.        Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospects to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

5.        Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align strategies and ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide strategic support and to ensure alignment with business goals.

6.        Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Track, analyse, and report on the performance of business development initiatives and strategies.
  • Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

7.       Innovation and Continuous Improvement

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in business development.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

8.      Customer Focus

  • Ensure a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to tailor business development strategies accordingly.

Benefits:

  • Base salary up to £55,000 DOE
  • Quarterly and annual bonus
  • Pension: After 3 months you will be enrolled onto the company pension scheme with a 6% contribution
  • Private healthcare: BUPA healthcare eligible after 12 months.
  • Car allowance of £6,500 or company car (hybrid available).
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holiday
