About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join our vibrant primary school community in Newham, with a start date of ASAP. This full-time position is a replacement role, providing an exciting opportunity to step into a supportive environment where respect and inclusion are at the heart of our culture. The recruitment process includes a face-to-face interview and a trial day to ensure a good fit for both the candidate and the school. You will be teaching a class that includes a mix of abilities, with support from a teaching assistant to help meet the needs of all students, including those with SEN. Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role, demonstrating your professional teaching credentials.

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Key Stage 2 is preferred, showcasing your ability to manage a classroom effectively.

• Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly in English and Mathematics, is required.

• Classroom Experience: Proven ability to engage students of diverse abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

• Professional References: At least two references from previous employers or educational institutions to support your application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning and Delivery: Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.

• Assessment and Progress Tracking: Regularly assess student progress through various methods, including formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.

• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and a love of learning, managing student behavior effectively.

• Support for SEN Students: Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialists to support the individual needs of students with SEN, adapting lessons and providing targeted interventions as necessary.
