Service Advisor - Commercial Vehicles

Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join a estbalished Main Dealer's Commercial Vehicles site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with automotive experience to take on a pivotal customer-facing role. With no weekend work, a competitive salary of £25,000 to £31,000 plus bonuses and overtime, and a 46.5-hour work week, this position offers a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for all customer service inquiries, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Schedule service and maintenance appointments, keeping customers updated throughout the process.
• Liaise between customers and technicians, ensuring clear communication of vehicle issues and repair needs.
• Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and customer feedback.
• Upsell additional products and services when appropriate.
• Handle invoicing, payments, and warranties, ensuring all paperwork is processed efficiently.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, preferably within the commercial vehicle sector.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of automotive repairs and services.
• Familiarity with dealership management software is advantageous.
