I am working with a growing energy and renewables consultancy who are looking for a junior town planner to join their team in their Leeds office on a full time hybrid basis - if you are a graduate looking to take a step in to planning or a town planner looking for a change then please do reach out!
 
You will be working on a whole range of projects including residential and commercial, however being an energy and renewables consultancy,  the projects will focus mainly on the energy and large infrastructure projects such as wind, solar and battery storage with some waste management, mineral and commercial schemes.
 
You will be required to co-ordinate, and prepare planning applications and environmental impact assessments, develop relationships with clients, local authorities, stakeholders and local communities.
You will also be required to manage sub-consultants, undertake site appraisals, and provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients at senior levels.
 
The successful applicant will ideally be RTPI qualified with a Degree / Masters planning qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience gained preferably in the energy, waste, minerals commercial and residential sectors.
