An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Spanish-speaking Nursery Practitioner to join a premier bilingual English/Spanish day nursery in a setting which provides children with a unique chance to learn both languages and reap the benefits of an enriching bilingual environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities for our Early Years Practitioner:
- Support the daily routine of the nursery
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment for the children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Ensure that children are kept safe and that all legislation in relation Health & Safety and Safeguarding is complied with·
- Ensure all children benefit from diverse and enriching play experiences ·
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Observe, support and extend each child’s learning and development and maintain the relevant paperwork ·
- Work in partnership with parents/carers and children’s families
Essential Skills and Experience Required:
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development
- Ability to engage and inspire children through creative and stimulating activities
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
- A positive, upbeat attitude and a willingness to learn
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working with children, preferably in a nursery or childcare setting
- Spanish-speaking
