About the Production Operator job

The purpose of your role will be to oversee the processing and packing of products to meet customer specifications while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and legal standards.

Key tasks

• Inspect products for foreign bodies and quality, ensuring no contamination during packing and processing.
• Work as part of a team to reduce downtime, improve productivity, and pack products to customer specifications, sealing and stacking them correctly.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health & safety, food safety, allergen management, and proper equipment use while maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, follow recipes without deviation, and safely store and clean equipment as required.

About You

• IT and a basic skill level of numeracy is required.
• A driving license and your own transport are essential due to the factory’s location and shift hours.
• Production/ factory experience would be beneficial but not essential.

The Production Operator job (ref:8758) is based in Essex and is paying up to £25,500 according to your experience.

The package includes a £26 per week attendance bonus.

The working hours are 6:00am-2:00pm, Monday to Friday.
