Purpose of the Role - Site Manager:
The Site Manager will oversee the successful delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring effective site management, risk minimisation, and positive stakeholder engagement. The role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and the ability to interpret construction drawings accurately while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Key Accountabilities - Site Manager:
- Read, interpret, and communicate construction drawings for site layouts, material measurements, and more.
- Ensure accurate setting out, providing precise lines, levels, and reference points on-site.
- Influence site progress to meet programme deadlines.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards.
- Continuously develop industry knowledge and implement best practices across the project.
- Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as necessary for the success of the project.
- Ability to take initiative and responsibility, managing projects from start to finish.
- Deadline-driven, motivating your team to achieve key targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability on-site.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related qualification with 5+ years of relevant on-site experience.
- Experience within the clean water/wastewater sector is essential.
- Proficiency in numeracy and IT, including MS Office, Word, and Excel.
- Full UK driving licence.
