We currently have a vacancy for a motivated team player to join our company as a Patient Services coordinator, working within our Orthotic department, Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, Stanmore.
The successful candidate will assist in the organization of the orthotic operations reporting into the patient services team lead, providing first class customer service and comprehensive administration services to ensure the procurement and the delivery of a well-coordinated and busy service.

- To assist with the provision of the day-to-day operation of patient administration, importing patient orders as requested by Orthotist.
- Create 3rd Party purchase orders if required, and have a full understanding of the ordering process
- Lead on inpatient patient pathways and the management of urgent & primary orders to follow local process
- Engage in local operational meetings, and contribute to the action plan set up in Orthotics
- To ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner and that patient service coordinators, stores and admin staff provide exceptional customer service, to our RNOH colleagues and wider NHS Teams.
- Support stores role and cover for annual leave and sickness
- Support and engage with CLCH Contract and requirements for cross training and cover if required
In addition, you will:
- Analyse and bring about improvements in processes and working practices
- Log and maintain the NCR process – including reporting into central manufacturing and liaising with the technical team in house and Leeds
- Lead on open order process and gain a full understanding of Work in progress in orthotics
- Support the clinical team in achieving highest levels of own product usage
You will need excellent attention to detail and systems process improvement techniques and be able to facilitate activities working with our production, logistics, customer service, finance and the RNOH clinical and admin team.
